🌾 Why We Charge an Entry Fee
We’re often asked why there’s an entry fee for our Pick Your Own Pumpkins — so here’s a little explanation.
We’re a working family farm, and all of the pumpkins you see are grown right here in our own fields. From planting to weeding, caring for the crop, and preparing the patch for visitors, it takes a lot of time, effort, and resources to create the experience you enjoy.
Your entry fee helps us cover:
- 🌱 The year-round work that goes into growing and maintaining the pumpkin patch
- 🚻 The hire of visitor toilets for the season
- ☕ The cost of bringing in a coffee van, including setup and insurance
- 👩🌾 Wages for our seasonal team who help keep everything running safely and smoothly
- 🧾 Public liability and visitor insurance
- ⏰ The many hours we spend preparing, maintaining, and running the event
By paying an entry fee, you’re helping us continue to offer a genuine pick-your-own experience — straight from the very field where your pumpkins are grown.
Thank you for supporting local farming and helping us keep this tradition alive! 🧡
