We are open this week 10-1pm on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thurs for PYO sunflowers. We’ve had a wonderful opening weekend with plenty of sunny visitors! The field is looking stunning but the flowers won’t last long… we may not open next weekend if the flowers are starting to turn … grab them while you can!

It’s Sunflower Time!
We open this Friday for a sunflower weekend on our farm! The sunflowers took us by surprise this year – after a dry start they didn’t show any sign of life for WEEKS! And then suddenly – here they are! A stunning sea of yellow. Yippee! We will be open as follows: Friday 15th August 10-3pm Saturday 16th August 6-9pm Sunday 17th August 10-3pm Let the picking commence! Don’t forget your secateurs – we do not have any to lend and the stems can be very thick! Please wear suitable footwear for a bumpy field…
A wonderful daffodils this year…
What a magnificent PYO daffodils we’ve had this year! The sun shone, the flowers were denser in parts particularly in sheltered areas which made up for those we lost to two wet springs. It has been truly uplifting to see the field is such glory this spring. We still have plenty left to pick but most are in full bloom now so this marks the end of the season. We will be open Wednesday 16th 12pm -5pm and Good Friday 10am-1pm. Good Friday will be our last day. With the rain and wind forecast this week we sadly won’t be opening on Easter Sunday this year as we fear the flowers will be past their best by then.
A very busy Mother’s Day at Glebe Farm!
What a beautiful day at the daffodils- we had blue skies and non stop sunshine ☀️ And lots of happy customers including a very special visitor of 103 years old! Which ties in with the fact that we had over 100 visitors today! We are so lucky with the weather this spring – and thank goodness after two wet springs in a row! We will be open again for PYO daffodils on Friday 4th April and again on Sunday 6th. We open at 10am & our last entry slot is 4pm. See you there – you can expect a warm welcome from our family team.
Mother’s Day at the daffodils 🌼
Daffodil picking commences…
We opened the daffodil field for the first time today – the patch is looking beautiful and we had some very happy visitors.
Pick Your Own Daffodils 2025!
Our daffodils are starting to bloom and the weather has been dry so far this March. We are really looking forward to opening the daffodil patch very soon and welcoming visitors back to our beautiful farm! What to expect? Peace and quiet – a lovely 5-10 minute stroll to the daffodil patch along a secluded grass track. What will I find? Seven different varieties of daffodil. Lothario; Sir Winston Churchill; Primrose Beauty; Red Devon; Great Leap; Quirinus & Mount Hood. The multi headed varieties will most likely bloom in early April. There is nothing quite like walking up & down the rows of daffodils picking your own blooms to take home. And of course the field has the most beautiful backdrop for photos. Refreshments? When possible our own coffee van will be open serving delicious barista coffee; hot drinks & homemade cakes. Watch this space for updates & opening times
Spring Time on the Farm
Our Pick Your Own Daffodil patch is now closed for the season. We would like to thank all our visitors, new ones and regular ones, for coming to our farm this spring. We hope you took some beautiful varieties home with you! Our Narcissus are not your standard trumpet daffodils – we have stunning multi-headed varieties such as Sir Winston Churchill (highly fragrant, pale cream flowers) and the delicate Primrose Beauty (delightfully scented, soft yellow blooms). Come and join us next Spring! We hope to plant some additional varieties this autumn so watch this space… Our next PYO event will be Sunflowers in Early August. The sunflower season is fleeting, so don’t miss it! It has been a very wet spring which has massively impacted our farm. We are desperately hoping for dry spells to allow us to plant our spring crops (including sunflowers and pumpkins). The PYO is a very small part of what we do. Let’s hope we get some beautiful April sunshine soon to let us get on with our planting! If you are familiar with our farm, you will probably had a coffee or hot chocolate from my little tuk tuk “Oscar”! This used to be at Moreton in Marsh train station until Grouch Coffee sold it. In order to keep the coffee machine ticking over between our PYO events I have decided to pop up on Wednesday mornings throughout the spring/summer months. So if you are local, come and say hello, grab a coffee, go for a walk or sit and enjoy the views. This is a rustic affair but we think that adds to the charm! All the best, Mary
Sunday fun!
We had a lovely day yesterday- so many happy visitors came out to support us despite the blustery conditions! The lambs were frolicking in the sunshine and dodging the April showers We will be open this week on Wednesday 10th and Friday 12th April
Pick Your Own Daffodils this Sunday
We had a fantastic Easter Sunday at the field – it was great chatting to so many happy visitors who return each year for our PYO events! We will be open again this Sunday – the daffodils are looking glorious and we have some highly scented and stunning multi headed varieties available to pick now. Our coffee van will be open serving delicious locally roasted coffee. Come and enjoy a scenic stroll to the daffodils (a 10 minute walk across fields) and then reward yourself with a coffee or hot chocolate! Happy picking!
